Currently

Here lately I've been struggling with being home-sick. Tim has had to work quite a bit recently, but believe it or not, I'm okay with that.  I am really missing my family and friends. I knew all along that this move and new fun adventure in our lives was going to be a difficult time of transition for me, but I did not expect the strong feelings of home-sickness.
Since we have been so busy with work and getting settled in we have not found a church family yet.  We just began visiting churches last weekend.  We are both longing for a church community. Please pray for us to find a church home quickly.

Here lately, we have also had a lot going on at work.  This past Monday we had a cookout for the entire mill.  We were celebrating and appreciating all the hourly workers for all they do and working so hard.  I was the photographer for the little event.  All the supervisors cooked and served their employees. I think the employees enjoyed the concept. :)

Date Night

After being in Arkansas for 2 full months it was about time to get out and explore some.  So last night Tim and I went on an official date.
Our first order of business was to find a sushi restaurant that was suitable to our taste.  But of course we know nothing about restaurants in and around Little Rock so we decided to just pick one with good reviews and give it a shot.
Last night we went to Sushi Cafe.  And it was well worth the money! We had a great time and the food was delicious!

By the time I came back she was looking at me as if she was saying "what? You didn't see a thing."

The cows are my favorite part about my drive to work each day.

March Already!

Needless to say, time flies!!! I can't believe it's the month that Spring begins.
Not too much has change here in Arkansas. We are still enjoying our rental house. The dogs are settling in perfectly and not digging under the fence anymore.
We just rented our Memphis house out to a great couple that just moved to the area from Nashville.

Next on the agenda - Finding a church close by and getting more involved in our surrounding area. Please pray for us in that regard. After being in Memphis this past weekend, I came to realize how much I miss the fellowship of a community.
